Congratulations on stumbling across my Photography blog. Whilst I run a fairly up to date website at http://KathrynDawson.co.uk I felt it was time that I started doing what I like to think I can do fairly well. Write. I run several blogs online and my other Photography focused blog is The Meadow Blog .

As for the rest of my life – I’m a Job Assessment Coach and part time Photographer. I shoot at Weddings, events and any other random occasions that come up. I’ve had my work and words used to publish an article in the Andover Advertiser and hope to build up my Photography and Writing skills to one day (wishful thinking) have a career focused entirely on the subjects. I study with the Open University – currently a degree in Criminology with Social Policy.

In the Art world I’ve just spent two years volunteering for a wonderful Art community – DeviantART. My hobbies and my real life income based work are both very different things. Photography for me is an escape, and for the past few years as well as use it to get out and create I’ve used it personally to mend some broken things.

I’m currently using this blog to do the 365 Photography challenge – basically a photo a day for a year. However as of writing this (Day Twenty Three!) I am managing to take far more than one picture a day!
