“Vintage books, old china, antiques; maybe I love old things so much because I feel impermanent myself.”
― Josh Lanyon
Stockbridge is quite a quaint local small town that consists mostly of a high street filled with quaint (and often pricey) shops – perfect for Birthday and Christmas present shopping! So I used my lunch break to pop over with my Mother and do some shopping in advance of my sisters Birthday on Saturday.

We stopped by The Garden Inn today to have a browse and pick up my photographic project for tomorrow. I took the opportunity to grab a few pictures inside the shop – it’s beautiful and the owner very kindly let me!

The flowers I had seen at the weekend when I went in, I wanted to buy them today to photograph them but sadly they are out of season now. However the shop keeper let me photograph them anyway, so that saved a bit of money!

My Mother invested in a vintage looking milk jug and some fresh flowers which actually work together really well. There’s so much in the shop it was difficult to leave, it was one of those places that’s packed full of all sorts to look at.

We had Coffee in Thyme and Tide, a pretty new deli that was filled with smells of olives and Mediterranean countries. I thoroughly reccomend a visit to the whole of the High Street if you’re ever nearby!
