“Blessed be the Sunshine, for it will stem the flow of life’s anxieties … for a while at least”

I don’t think Americans quite do it in the same way as us Brits…but we do these things called ‘Carboot sales’ from the backs of our cars on sunny afternoons in the countryside – and actually make a fair bit! It’s a good few years since we did a sale though, so I had forgotten how much people are on you the minute you arrive and start unloading the car (and that’s before the visitors have even arrived!)

A pitch at our local weekly carboot sale costs just £7 for a car – so we took two in and had a van as well and we came away with a nice tidy £324 split between three couples. It was pretty good! There is a lot leftover to sort out though, bric a brac and bits like that, but all in all we didn’t do too badly.

The weather was gorgeous – still is in fact, and I’m determined to enjoy the rest of it with a book and a bit of studying later on. Oh and perhaps a game or two of ‘Sequence’ – anyone ever heard of that one? (Photo taken last night)

Today was a most welcome day of relaxation, it started with a brief wander around town and a visit to Waterstones for some light reading… (Which I’m not allowed to touch until Uni is over!) Then a late breakfast/lunch followed by getting stuck into editing the photographs from yesterdays Wedding.

At final count, the photos are at the 370 mark which is quite epic for twelve hours work. I’m incredibly pleased with these ones, I’ve missed doing full days at Weddings lately and it was nice to see it through from beginning to end. I will do a full blog post on both previous Weddings once Bride and Groom have seen the final results.

Today was a day of relaxation for Buddy too, until he got invited to the meadow. My Dad drove the Tractor down so sadly there wasn’t room for Buddy. However he got his own lift there and back and therefore enjoyed himself immensely. He was quite bemused by the tractor though – even a little worried too!

Tomorrow includes returning to work and seriously turning back to the studying. I have two assignments left and one exam in June, so I will be reducing the photography (and writing) for the time being until it’s all over. And then expect the floodgates to open!
