Day 232: Temperature Drops

I left for work this morning to find that the temperature was in single figures! Single…figures….! Practically unheard of for the past three months or so. I decided to take a photo, for I had nothing else to photograph today and it was sort of note-worthy because very soon it will be scarf weather…! =)

Day One Hundred & Ninety Five: Textiles

As you will see, today I photographed textiles! It might sound a bit dull but actually, the shots worked out quite well and I liked the softness captured. Clothing, and other accessories are things that we barely think about in terms of material. As a woman, I’m more concerned about whether or not what I’m wearing looks okay. As a very self conscious female, it’s more painful than the average normal person can imagine!

I set out to photograph leaves with my macro lens, but actually the rain was pretty awful and I went back inside to sort out my filters and found that I had what I needed right in front of me to photograph. Scarfs, blanket and a cushion!

With a bit of work using the flash gun, and the tele-photo lens, I had my shots within a few minutes. With an added trip to Waitrose, I had tomorrow’s shots sorted too. I purchased my props and have them sat here ready to be shot tomorrow. I tell you, this weekend is pretty organised!
