Day 292: Home days

We had the perfect Sunday – for the first time in a long time, we had nothing to do which was complete bliss. However I found things to do, but that was still okay! We went out and browsed the shops a little bit before heading home for brunch, croissants, tea and brand new reading material!

The afternoon was spent working on a project which I can’t blog about! But will eventually be able to share a photo or two. Then we had our first ever roast dinner in the new house – roast pork and mainly all the trimmings (but mint sauce instead of apple always). Thoroughly chilled!

Day 117: Christmas Dinner!

We woke up this morning to the house smelling like Christmas. It’s Roast Turkey Dinner day! It has been a while since we had a Sunday roast so it was a lovely treat, particularly turkey. Buying a whole turkey in the shops was actually a fair bit cheaper than buying a joint of most other meats as well.

We haven’t done any more big purchases towards the house, instead we shopped around and ‘cashed in’ our nectar points at Sainsburys with a couple of money off vouchers to get us a lovely toaster for £3.12!
