Week Two: Doggies

Maisy is settling so well but the common factor that surprises everyone is how small she is in person (or in dog!) So we did some comparison photographs in the typical family portrait style on-the-steps pose to show just how much smaller she is compared to big handsome Buddy…

This week has been really hectic with balancing back to work and home life all the time stumbling around feeling about 50 years older than I am because of the ongoing back pain! I wanted to get out and explore for some decent photographs but figured that nobody would mind a couple of cute dogs..it’s only week two after all.

Day 321: Doggy Adventures

Meet our potentially new doggy!! She’s a collie cross who we’ve been getting to know over the past few days and is a rescue dog. We introduced Buddy to her today as although we don’t live with him, he will be a big part of her life and they got on extremely well. We did meet another dog last week who were were bonding with but unfortunately he’s not able to be around other dogs so that fell through. But this pretty lady seems promising enough that we might even get to bring her home next weekend… we won’t share names just yet as we’re hoping to change hers so that she can be more responsive… watch this space!
