We had the perfect Sunday – for the first time in a long time, we had nothing to do which was complete bliss. However I found things to do, but that was still okay! We went out and browsed the shops a little bit before heading home for brunch, croissants, tea and brand new reading material!

The afternoon was spent working on a project which I can’t blog about! But will eventually be able to share a photo or two. Then we had our first ever roast dinner in the new house – roast pork and mainly all the trimmings (but mint sauce instead of apple always). Thoroughly chilled!2 1

The 100 day countdown has begun! I have officially been blogging for 265 days and there are just 100 daily blog posts left to write….! I’m quite excited, although the past few weeks despite the lack of internet I’ve found blogging quite therapeutic and a chance to organise my thoughts. I know that was painful for some of you – especially when reading about the 15 Lives of Harry August!

I’m sure you will all be pleased to know that I’ve finished the book – but it took me twice as long as it takes to read any other book in the past year or so (excluding uni books which take months). Essentially, it was rather a good read in the end and half of my mind would recomend it to anyone – the other half would sympathise and not put someone else through the agony!

This morning the sunrise was beautiful and it was the first ‘proper’ September day this month with the temperature a nice cool 4.5 degrees c first thing this morning. I poked my head out of the office window, mostly to glare at the builders who already had their music on at 6:45am – and spotted this view. It was worth the glaring!
