“I sustain myself with the love of family.”
― Maya Angelou

Late this morning we went on an absolutely lovely (bar the wind and rain!) walk with a family for a photo shoot. The location was Hengistbury Head in Bournemouth, a really popular ‘spit’ of land that has some fantastic walks and scenery. The area holds lots of memories for the Butcher family so was a perfect location for their shoot. Hopefully we’ve captured some permanent memories for the three generations that were there today! The Butcher family are very photogenic and even the little ones spared a few smiles which has given us some lovely images to work with. Below are a select few shots that have been processed with some light filters. There were too many photographs to share here!

Today I got the chance to photograph the new arrival of a couple who I photographed last year at their Wedding! Their baby was absolutely perfect and patient with us as we changed outfits, arranged backdrops and just in general captured as many shots as we could. I’ve got the full gallery here for those who are interested in how the shoot went. We got creative for Halloween…

And in preparation for Christmas….

I had so much fun doing this shoot! Photographing babies is amazing, working with props and outfits is great fun and I can’t wait for the next shoot – on Friday!
