The giant marbles concept is not yet greatly overdone so I took advantage of it today and snapped a few shots in the sunshine. I’ve always been fascinated with glass works and have a love of spiralled twisted glass, especially that shows the world behind it in such a distorted view.

The first time I did one of these I used selective colour to enhance the marble and make the background black and white. Actually though, the fresh crisp colours of the garden worked well in the background proving that Orange and Green should always be seen.

Sadly I didn’t have the time to construct shots properly but I’m pleased somewhat with the effects that were achieved. It has been a hectic day – and as always, photography is the least stressful part of it.
