“Home is where our story begins…”
I think today was the first day I could really picture the house and the fact that it’s ours…with wedding season over and the first week out of the way with the new job, I finally have a clearer mind and vision! So we spent a bit of time today tweaking, sorting, unpacking and rearranging the kitchen cupboards to find that we actually have a ton of space. Buddy also laid claim to the sofa…after we put a Buddy blanket on it!

Only really just switching off now at ten pm! So a very brief blog with a couple of photos of today’s progress…It was eventful, Dining room table arrived just as the electrician came to do some snagging bits and then a painter turned up followed by a few builders who casually carried on filling up their water containers from our outdoor tap (we soon stopped that, we’re on a meter now!) When we arrived at 8am the shed was being built and the fence was being finished, it was all done fairly quickly which was impressive. That was in the back garden, we opened the front door to find chipping being spread on the garden – extra efficient! There are of course, niggling things and there was a water leak at some point but these things happen (I’m told) and then there’s the emotions that hit you last thing at night when it’s dark outside….so we’ll leave this blog there. Enjoy some progress photos!
