Tin foil on houses! That’s the view we’ve been waking up to lately, but regardless the sunrise has been beautiful and another sign of Autumn because it’s happening later and later each day.

“How did it get so late so soon?”
― Dr. Seuss
We spent a lovely day up ‘North’ (compared to the South anyway) with William’s family enjoying the sunshine, good food and lovely drinks! So I had to make my photographs pretty much part of the journey, and luckily things were thrown into my path quite nicely. On the way up we passed a burnt out coach…
And on the way home we passed a merry-go-round and a gorgeous sunset! Oh and a few hot air balloons – which always (to me) signify Summer. The journey takes about an hour and a half but was quite nice to do in Sunday traffic with the weather playing ball. It hit about 26 degrees at one point too. A lovely day all round!
