The wind has picked up, the sun is bright and the temperature has dropped – it’s finally Autumn. I love this season, and I can’t wait to get out with the camera in the coming weeks to capture all the changes. The leaves are just beautiful right now and after a week of mist, no sunshine and rain it’s sweet relief to have a blue sky and a crisp breeze!

1Just  a tiny bit more patience is needed in order to get through a couple of essays for the new uni year, and a bit more work before a much needed week off! Standby for more photography shortly…

Again with the Autumnal feeling today but can it be helped? Not at all! The weather has dropped dramatically in temperature and it really feels like Autumn. However with the weekend set to bring temps of 24 plus again, who knows what will happen next!

So initially I began shooting some leaves that looked pretty against the red brick of the house. And then I spied what appeared to be a dead tree – but I think it’s just early Autumn seasonal! The colours however, especially in the little sunlight we did have, were beautiful.

I couldn’t resist! I’m prepping for the reds, oranges and golds of September and October and hoping that they do the season justice again this year. I have ear-marked lots of spots that I want to go back to and shoot at for a different seasonal feel so we shall see what the rest of the year brings.

Regardless though, when the days start getting shorter again I’m determined not to run out of things to keep this 365 challenge going! Inspiration is running high as of late!
