“At last came the golden month of the wild folk– honey-sweet May, when the birds come back, and the flowers come out, and the air is full of the sunrise scents and songs of the dawning year.”
― Samuel Scoville Jr.

We found the windmill the other night. We were just driving aimlessly, looking for a good spot to capture the sunset. I said, ‘Wouldn’t the Windmill have been a great place this evening…’ and we agreed but it was too far away and plus we didn’t know where we were then anyway. “Count to three,

And you’ll be…

…in a world of pure imagination…”
― Willy Wonka

It’s that time of year again – when I head out randomly in the hopes of capturing the last few images for 2017’s calendar. And I wasn’t disappointed. The weather has been beautiful and I particularly wanted to capture a few landscapes before the sunset.

We went to the usual trusty locations heading towards Berkshire and photographed the hills from the top, and from the bottom. The great thing about the areas that we explore, is that we frequently get lost and stumble upon new views. Fabulous results to be had when that happens, I love photographing familiar places but I enjoy finding the new ones even more…

So due to travelling plans this Autumn, it’s likely that the 2017 England Calendar will be ready very far ahead of schedule. The price is still to be confirmed depending on my supplier’s co-operation with sticking to last years price. However I’m hoping that it will be around the £12 – £14 mark once more.
