“Hello Spring”
I don’t know why I’ve found it harder to blog weekly this year compared to when I was blogging daily last year! It has been a while – but I have taken lots of photographs I just haven’t had the time to share them. I’ve been battling a cold and whilst that was attacking me the flu decided to hit on Friday night giving me a delightful bank holiday weekend of minimal sleep – what hurt even more was that chocolate is making me cough so no Easter eggs here (sort of!)
I ended up trying to sleep on the sofa which didn’t really work out especially when Maisy thought it would be great fun to join me…
Today however I decided it was time to stop feeling sorry for myself and as the temperature hit 16 degrees c it was perfect weather for getting out there and enjoying the sun. We took Maisy to the meadow where she met up with Buddy and they tore around like crazy pretending that they hadn’t seen each other the day before. Buddy taught her how to get confident with the water and with a lot of tennis ball coaxing she was in and out of it constantly!
We’ve worked a bit on the garden, our Rhubarb is growing nicely and even waves at us when we look out the bedroom window (it is a bit windy!) We have a Clematis left to plant and just finished planting our Bay Tree yesterday..
Maisy has more or less behaved herself although there have been a few dubious moments. She has adopted a new chair, one we more or less use for putting things on. It’s the smallest chair in the house but she insists on squishing her butt into it..
And that’s about it for the last few weeks photographs. We photographed my Parents open day and likely if you follow facebook you will have seen a few updates about that. Bring on the sunshine for more outdoors photography – and Happy Easter!
