What a day! The first part of it was spent leaving Wales, which took a really long time. We’ve decided that time moves differently in Wales and miles are measured in a strange way. It took around an hour to go 25 miles down the road, which isn’t normal!

I was already thoroughly spoiled with a gorgeous Owl carving/candle holder from William that I had spied the day before in Hay-On-Wye (Photos being saved for another day!) But when I got home, there were even more presents from other family members, parents, sister and her boyfriend and so on.

I now have my very own weather station, something that I’ve been intrigued in for quite some time and something that might seem quite geeky to get, but is actually quite awesome! I also had an amazing collage of childhood memory photographs organised in a ‘family’ box frame courtesy of my sister, along with lots of other bits and pieces. My parents had got me lots of bits and pieces, mainly featuring owls! I also got some beautiful jewellery, a lovely cookery book courtesy of Mary Berry and loads of other things. My boyfriends parents bought two gorgeous matching owl lamps (that somehow they knew I had my eye on since a while – see, thoroughly spoiled I did warn you!)

After a really nice meal with the family, grandparents included, we headed back home for more presents (more owls!) There was also an owl charm for my bracelet, and lots of scarves and pretty bits. All in all, I’ve done fantastically well from turning twenty five and would love to do it all over again tomorrow. I haven’t photographed too much in the way of gifts, because who knows where they will feature in upcoming blog posts during the 365 challenge..

The photos today are a bit of a mix, Birthday Cake (Traditionally made with all the chocolates on top), blossoms and sunsets and a few of the final Wales shots. We passed by Tintern Abbey on our way to England and actually I had been there two years ago to the day, so William very kindly took some snaps whilst we sped past.
