“The only reason why we ask other people how their weekend was is so we can tell them about our own weekend.”
― Chuck Palahniuk

Today started horrendously, around 2am!  Subsequently much of the morning was spent at the local hospital waiting for an appointment with the out of hours GP. Predictably, the appointment time came and went which I get, it’s a Saturday and it’s busy e.t.c e.t.c. But the GP didn’t have to wander down the corridor into the waiting area with a plastic cup filled with somebody’s urine (or the apple juice there was REALLY bad) and then proceed to try and wrestle somewhat precariously with a locked door right next to me. And then it was followed by spending horrendous amounts of money on prescriptions (Where have I been all this time? I have no idea, but how did the price get so high?!)

This afternoon things have settled down a little and the excruciating pains that I was experiencing seemed to be being kept at bay by the tablets. I had great plans for today’s photographs, being my first ‘free’ day since University ended. Sadly, I couldn’t go through with any of them and didn’t even get the chance to wander around a bookshop and buy non-education materials! I did however, make use of the sunshine, a spray bottle of water and a couple of bottles I unearthed from my photography drawer when I had a bought of inspiration and energy.

“Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky.”
― Khalil Gibran
