“In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.”
― Albert Camus
Today it definitely felt like November. Although Autumn continues until December, Winter has already seemed to set in. Astronomically, Winter is set to begin on the 21st of December which is the Winter Solstice, but Meteorologists start it on the 1st of December. Either way, it’s happening now!
So armed with the camera, I decided it was a great moment to capture the last of the Autumn leaves on the huge Beech Tree that we have at the top of the garden. A brilliant blue sky, which is rare these days, framed everything perfectly.
Tonight is the local town’s firework display as the 5th of November known as Bonfire Night here in the UK – approaches. (Also known as my Mothers Birthday!) So I’ll be wrapping up warm and heading off to that for hopefully some more photos.
