You wouldn’t believe that the sun is shining right now and it’s  a beautiful Autumn day – if you’d seen the weather a few hours ago. Full of cold, sore throats and headaches I barely spent a minute outside grabbing a couple of photos before I raced back into the warmth. The storm that blew in was incredible!

The macro lens has once again become useful with the weather worsening. It happened at the beginning of the year, and will happen at the end! For today though, that’s enough writing as I need to go an dose up on cold relief!

I actually read the whole quote from Jospeh Heller before I realised it was from Joseph Heller (and Catch 22). So it completely confuzzled my brain before I really even knew what I was reading, and it still does actually.

I thought I’d share the full quote anyway, because I lack words and time today and it can confuse everybody else as well so that you’re all on the same page as me! And the link with today’s blog? It’s all about Crab Apples!

“I did it to protect my good reputation in case anyone ever caught me walking around with crab apples in my cheeks. With rubber balls in my hands I could deny there were crab apples in my cheeks. Everytime someone asked me why I was walking around with crab apples in my cheeks, I’d just open my hands and show them it was rubber balls I was walking around with, not crab apples, and that they were in my hands, not my cheeks. It was a good story, but I never knew if it got across or not, since its pretty hard to make people understand you when your talking to them with two crab apples in your cheeks.”
