“Inhale and hold the evening in your lungs.”
― Sebastian Faulks
Whilst we have a beautiful (man-made) bunch of fields and park right outside our front door, we also have a bigger bunch of (slightly more natural) fields just around the corner. So we decided to venture there rather last minute today with the dog, whilst the sky turned thundery and beautiful…
We weren’t disappointed, the rolling hills, shimmering fields and beautiful grass combined nicely with the backdrop of a thundery sky. With a few rumbles in the distance, we decided to cautiously venture further…
And stumbled across the animals of Farthing Wood. A few shy Deer and a snuffling Badger weren’t too bothered by ours (and the dogs) presence.
Just goes to show, you should never stay in just because it looks like it’s going to rain… ;)
