September 29, 2014 by Kathryn Dawson
“Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year.”
― Chad Sugg
I went home today and saw some gorgeous roses on the table, coupled with the Autumn bits that my Mum had spread around the house, it looked amazing. I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos for today’s blog!

What beautiful rich colours – how kind of your mother to spread those autumnal bits around your house.
love your owl photo!
She did this at her house, I still call it ‘home’ :d It’s only been two months after all!
Thank you – these are just a few of my owl collection. Last count there were well over three hundred. I love owls – well anything that flies. (except Flies!)
‘Home’ is such an interesting word – it has so many meanings – positive and occasionally negative – attachment, financial security, memories, family, safety, familiarity. Do we just have to have one home or can we have many?
Attachment to home and place is one of the ways people preserve self-identity or so they say!
Indeed, i’m the same. My friends came to see the new house the other day and were shocked at how many owls there were! ‘The Range’ (shop) has some amazing ones at the moment.
Yes, when I moved out I struggled to say i’m ‘going home now’ because which was home and where! I think we can have many at least :)
