A 365 blog wouldn’t be the same without a trip or two to the Bunnies (not the animals!) Yet I was very surprised when I drove past there to have a brief lunch break today. The historic landmark that makes The Bunnies what they are, with the beautiful views…was gone! Below is an older photograph that I took, showing the Bunnies how they used to look…with the caution tape present to indicate something was wrong already…
But today, it was completely different. It seems like the old fishing hut had finally given in to the wind and rain beating down upon it at the weekend…
When I went past on my way to work, they were removing it. They didn’t seem to mind me stopping to take a few snaps. The water was very high, it’s easy to see how the hut has become damaged…
Then later on, at the end of the day, it was gone completely. I really hope they replace it because the area won’t be the same again. The weather was variable throughout the day, throwing up opportunities for rainbows – and beautiful sunsets…
