Strawberry Vanilla Smoothies

At the weekend, as you will probably have gathered from my previous posts, it was hot. It was too hot to even eat! All we really wanted was ice, ice lollies, ice cream or yoghurt. So we reached a happy medium by combining a few key ingredients to make smoothies!

  • 2 Tubs of Vanilla Fat Free Yoghurt (flavour, amount and nutrition values can change as per what you’d like)
  • 1 punnet of strawberries (hulled)
  • 2 glasses/cups/mugs of ice cubes
  • 1 dash of coconut and pineapple juice (optional but reccomended!)

Basically, we chucked all of the ingredients into the blender thingy-bob and mushed it up for about 2 minutes and it was pretty near to perfect. Added in the slug of juice (because we forgot before) and it was perfect. Smoothie’s are not an exact science and googling turfs up all sorts of concoctions – but if you like them plain and simple, this is your flavour!

In other news – three blogs in as many days? I guess it’s the weather going to my head…but I’ve honestly missed this, I’ve missed photography, blogging and in general just talking about nonsense for a few paragraphs and have people ‘liking it’ to stroke my ego. More please!
