“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”
― Rabindranath Tagore
I love that no matter how bad a day can be, and how many disgusting or horrendous things you might have to see or endure to get through it – you can always count on the ending to be different, every single time. I’ve never seen an evening sky look the same as it did the night, week or even year before. The one dependable we have, is change. That’s irony for you!
So that’s one of the reasons why I love photographing sunsets. The other is that it’s so easy. I don’t take the time to use a tripod, or set my shot up. Sunsets happen so quickly and within a few seconds the whole visual outlook can change to be something completely different to a moment before – so there’s barely any time for pausing. These shots shared here today were taken last night, and tonight. Fresh off the sunset press!
If you’re looking for a bit more colour this evening, because your sky is grey – then wander over to my portfolio of simply sunsets found here.
