“Blessed indeed is the man who hears a gentle voice call him father.”
― Lydia Maria Francis Child
Father’s day consisted of seeing the Grandparents, helping make a roast dinner, tidying, cleaning and venturing to the meadow. We bought Dad some socks, a mug, maltesers and bacardi breezer – what more could a man want?
The weather wasn’t 100%, but that doesn’t matter – the weekend was nice anyway. I spent yesterday not revising or writing essays – and not feeling guilty about it! A bit of shopping, a visit with some friends and Life of Pi in the evening finished it off nicely.
To top the day off completely, home made ‘Eaton Mess’ of sorts – Strawberries, Raspberries and meringue!
I always love your images Kathryn. Showing that life does have soft edges in a harsh world. :-)
Thank you :)
