“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”
― Rabindranath Tagore
The weekend has seen a combination of rain, thunder, lightning, hail, sleet and then finally snow before it cleared up just in time for those beautiful sunsets that I thought would never be seen again! It’s true that the perfect sunset is the combination of the reflection of a day of rain (or in our case, three days!), a sprinkling of clouds and a handful of rays.
Stir it up with a camera and add a little hanging out of an upstairs window et voila – you have the most fantastic ending to a Sunday! The colours captured remind me of Summer, I can’t wait until the weather improves and I properly venture out with the camera once more.
I also grabbed a few minutes to photograph the biggest and most beautiful roses I’ve ever seen. It was tricky, the light was poor and the roses weren’t co-operating, but the results are passable at least!
Lovely ! ♥ ✿
I think the rose images are halfway decent. Love the color in this post.
Absolutely love the texture in these pictures. Awesome.
Thank you!
