“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
The best thing about not having to blog everyday – is having more time to work on the photos! These were taken almost a week ago. Imagine that! It’s a Photo-graphical Revolution…! These were taken on a short walk to blow the cobwebs away after the rain and snow had cleared last weekend. The weather since has been up and down, predominantly windy!
So I experimented a while with Lightroom to get these images how I wanted. I then messed up when saving, and therefore had to fiddle all the settings again. It was much quicker the second time around, but isn’t quite how I had it before which is a shame!
I was trying to make the most of Photographing the ‘mundane.’ Everyday things that everybody sees, and showing them in a different light. I’m keen to work more without colour, to learn shadows and lighting.
Hopefully this weekend will bring some more photographic opportunities – I can’t wait for Spring to fully kick in, the weather to improve, and the photos to start inspiring me again!
Good messing about.
