Today we made a revisit to Savernake Forest – this time heading into the Forest on foot with the accompaniment of Buddy! We headed into Savernake some weeks ago to capture the Autumn Avenue of Beech Trees, this time it was a bit more about mushrooms!
We discovered a huge fallen tree absolutely covered in them, sadly it was too dark for many of the images captured to be any good. But I do have a couple to share. We carried on into the forest and got some lovely autumnal tree shots.
Buddy enjoyed the walk too, it was a change of scenery for him and the forest is buried far away from any major roads so he was able to roam free which seemed to suit him. Plenty of squirrels were on hand for entertainment. William took the shot below of Buddy and his climbing antics….!
