“A jazz musician is a juggler who uses harmonies instead of oranges.”
Benny Green
One of the smells that remind me of Autumn and Winter is that of dried orange. It’s a little different to peeling a satsuma of course! I remember walking through the Parisian or German Christmas markets and that orange smell would be drifting through the market stalls.
It’s the ultimate smell of the season, along with cinnamon. So a while ago I bought some dried orange decorations and cinnamon sticks – I planned to put them to good use last year but I completely forgot. However they’ve become useful now as the subject of today’s blog!
