“Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.”
― Dr. Seuss

My computer has had a well earned Birthday courtesy of William crawling around on the floor and sorting out all the leads (I never realised how many there were) and helping me buy a few bits and pieces to spruce it up. So consequently I am typing to you from a very expensive keyboard and when I click the publish button it will be with a very expensive mouse!

I also have some fantastic speakers now, instead of my little round one in the cupboard – which always sounded like someone was talking to me from in a cupboard, oddly enough! So whilst I’m going through today’s photos I have in the background the live streaming of Redbulls Mission To The Edge of Space. In fact I got distracted and watched the jump fully – which was incredible.

It was inspiring to see how far, as a human race, we have come. When I was younger I had the chance to meet Colin Prescott, a man who along with a partner was planning to break records and reach the edge of space. He aimed to go 23 miles high but I don’t think he ever got that far.  Felix today reached 24 miles!

So with Computer Birthdays, de-dusting and generally watching amazing things happen – today has been quite relaxing and useful! The photos aren’t much today because I grabbed them when I could this afternoon. Happy Sunday!
