Mornings are sometimes the best of times, and the worst. Unless you’re one of those infuriatingly amazing people who can wake up sprightly every single day – you’re one of the majority that will not know until it happens, how they are going to feel.

Mornings though, can be very beautiful. Regardless of whether we want to look at them or roll over and steal another few minutes of sleep. I actually was going to do the latter this morning and then the sky burst into colour and I couldn’t ignore it.

 


It’s one of the biggest sacrifices of being a photographer. Sleep. And admiring mornings – you’re forced to cut out the sleep and admire whether you like it or not! You are also forced to try and make something of some very washed out shots. All the images you see in this mornings blog were taken by me hanging the camera out of a skylight window. I didn’t see what I was shooting, I just hoped for the best. It’s one of those mornings…
