“How beautifully leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days.”
~John Burroughs
I’m warning you now, once Autumn properly hits and the villages and lanes are covered in millions of leaves, it’s all the blog will be about. For days. Months even. Well, at least until Autumn is over. Which technically isn’t until December.
So the natural thing to do, in aid of Autumn, was to make Buddy pose in the garden with the autumn leaves behind him and lots of sun on his face. He was quite obliging actually, I did have biscuits lined up on the wall though.
Then there were distractions like awesome bits of twigs that looked quite nice against soil backdrops and so on – and then at 5:30 there was the distraction of finishing work and wanting to go to the candle shop (which has a loyalty card members sale on today!)
So it’s surprising that I even got the blog done anyway really. But here we are at not even quite six o clock and I think I’ve got shots and uploaded them in record time – it’s only taken 262 days to get organised!
