“But then fall comes, kicking summer out on its treacherous ass as it always does one day sometime after the first of September.”

– Stephen King

We had a breath of Summer over the weekend and just like the quote from Stephen King, Autumn came this morning and kicked out all remains and hopes for a heatwave in the last Summer month of the year.

It was dull, dreary and rainy for most of the day which meant that I was keen to find something vibrant to photograph this evening to try and make up for it! I wasn’t disappointed, I ended up shooting some pinky flowers in the garden, no idea what they are called!

There is a small difference! I’ve been signing/watermarking my images! It’s not going to be a permanent thing, I don’t think. I’ve just been experimenting again and wanted to try out the watermark to see how subtle it was. So it won’t always be there!

The other exciting news is that my 2013 Calendars are done and ready to go! This year, they include 12 images from 2012. This has never happened before! I’ve usually scraped around across previous years. But doing the 365 challenge has meant that I have a plethora of images to choose from, and ones that suit each month too. Thanks to the snow in January, I have December sorted!

The above is the front cover. The calendars are Landscape and A4 in size. They have large squares for writing dates on and for an additional £1 you can have custom dates added – so you’ll never forget the birthdays! Each calendar costs £12 which includes free UK postage. Postage to Europe is £1 and postage to USA/CANADA/AUS is £2 extra. They’d make great Christmas presents!

Above are previews of how each month will look (just imagine it bigger!) and shows each image that will be used. If you’ve been following the blog you’ll recognise them all hopefully! Anyone interested in purchasing a calendar can drop me an email at kathrynphotography@live.co.uk ! From Today (Monday) until Friday I am offering each order placed and paid for a free mounted random print of mine too!
