“A painter should begin every canvas with a wash of black, because all things in nature are dark except where exposed by the light.”
― Leonardo da Vinci
I decided I felt in the mood to work on some still life photography this afternoon, and so headed outside with various photogenic bits and pieces. It has been a gloomy day so I armed myself with some moody filters to aid the efforts.
But of course, when you go outside Buddy has to get involved! However he wasn’t too keen this time around when he saw me eying him up and preparing to use him as tripod, albeit a furry unbalanced one!
Nevertheless, Buddy persevered like a real man and stood the test of patience whilst I decorated him with dangly necklaces. It worked out really well considering, because they were balanced on Buddy I was able to direct him! Yes – you heard it here first Ladies and Gentleman – Doggy tripods DO work!
Buddy even got into the spirit of things and started acting like a proper model with moody poses and everything! Although I think, in the end, it was more frustration than co-operation. So I got him some treats and thus concluded our photo – shoot!
Buddy is so sweet! ~ Wendy
Buddy makes a great model even though he looks rather non-plussed about it. Great shots!
Buddy is a perfect top model!
Filters! Love. I have a handful of old ones from my first camera that I keep meaning to recycle for my DSLR.
bling suits Buddy :) I love the photos.
