“As soon as you have made a thought, laugh at it.”

Rather brief blog today! Although I spent some time on the photos you’ll be pleased to know. I took my macro lens out in the rain and actually steadied my shots to try and get them a bit crisper. I’m quite pleased with the results!
So whilst the subject is the same as yesterday’s blog – that leaf is so photogenic with the droplets on! The focus is slightly different given that I’ve made an effort to get up close and personal with the water!!
And actually if you look at some of the images, you’ll notice that the drops appear to be climbing up hill. It’s not a trick of the light – some were actually defying gravity somewhat and clinging to the leave when you’d least expect it!
So that’s it for today – once again a brief blog. However the rain shall soon no longer be an excuse!
lovely pictures
Great shots!! Beautiful work!! Did you use a tripod to steady your shots?
No tripod! But I did lean on the wall most of the time which definitely helped :)
Love these. The rain is good for something – don’t let others tell you we don’t need it. The droplets create a beautiful effect. I can imagine a frog sat amongst this lot of leaves and water.
Nice work!
I love anything with raindrops on it! Nice!
Me too, they’re definitely becoming one of my most favourite things to photograph. Thank you!
