Clare, by her own admission, is a Photographer, Crafter & Oddity. She also makes beautiful jewellery. Since I’m fast running out of time before tomorrow’s Wedding I thought that I would need to be quite quick and creative with the images I shoot for todays blog – and since Clare’s wonderful earrings arrived today I thought I would shoot them! Clare has a shop on Etsy where you can see more of her fantastic creations.

I initially started using a heart made out of twigs and lavender for the background. However that didn’t work too well – it’s a really misty morning with no slats of sunlight coming through so the lighting is a bit terrible. Then I spotted a gift card I had recently bought…
It’s dark blue with a strip of lace down the front of it – perfect for a background and proof that you can be artistic with absolutely anything (mostly). Silver jewellery in particular photographs well against a dark neutral background and so this worked quite nicely.
So that’s it for today – and possibly even tomorrow. I will be taking photographs all day tomorrow so I’m still meeting the requirements of the challenge – but the blog may well be a day late in favour of me sleeping at the end of a long day!
