The quote is actually much longer than what I have written above and in its complete form says: “The heat made people crazy. They woke from their damp bedsheets and went in search of a glass of water, surprised to find that when their vision cleared, they were holding instead the gun they kept hidden in the bookcase.” I quite like it! I can imagine that the sort of temperatures we’ve had today might make people do that!
27 degrees was the highest my temperature gauge claimed to reach today when I was sat in the middle of a hot stuffy market town. The air conditioning in the car was fantastic, only it didn’t prep you for the heat outside so when I did venture out – it was quite a shock! The dogs are not happy with it either – it does feel as if the weather goes from one extreme to another with nothing average in between.
So I photographed firstly, The Fairy Stone. It’s one of those huge stones you quite often see in garden centres or gardens, that nobody really knows what they are there for. Well, the secret is out! They house fairies! Since I was old enough to loose my baby teeth, my parents told me that the fairies lived in the stone so quite often, me being me, I wrote to them – and the fairies being the awesome things that they were, wrote back! So there we go – a few more memories captured – and a couple of shots of Buddy just for fun too!
