I wanted to catch the essence of today in a photograph. The weather is still grey and gloomy but the rain is a bit more sporadic giving us some respite for just a few hours which I stole a bit of to get today’s photographs. But the wind has picked up and when the breeze hits it’s a little bit of warm and a lot of cold! The plants wouldn’t stay still, naturally, and so in the end I stopped battling with them and let the blur hit. It was a painful decision to make!
However it makes a nice change from still life – capturing nature in motion. The weekend looks to be brighter and so I’m crossing everything in the hopes that the weather forecast is right! It’s been right so far in predicting our weeks of endless rain – so here’s hoping.
