Well we woke up this morning to find a huge gap in our lives. Not even entirely sure how it happened. But when we went to bed last night the sitting room housed a three piece suite. At eleven am today it had disappeared. Buddy looked like he was munching on something leather and cream coloured…
Luckily we managed to get a shot of the sofa abduction on our security cameras – we’re hopeful that the culprit will be tracked down and our sofa returned safely soon. In the meantime we’re fashioning chairs out of bits of logs from the log shed. Uncomfortable but if you layer them with bubble wrap first of all it’s not so painful. Noisy though.
As you may ALL be aware – today is April Fools Day!
Normal service has resumed – today I took varying shots of various things. I also cooked dinner. In between I’m not exactly sure what I did I just know that it wasn’t a very productive day! It was busy on deviantART as there are always April Fools shenanigans to be had. Today it was all about Cats. Horrible creatures!
So as we step into April – here’s a bit of Buddy. Today he’s been introduced to the space where the sofa was and he loved it. I came through to the sitting room to find him chasing himself around in the empty gap, fighting with himself for an empty tube of wrapping paper. Well that’s what it used to be, now it’s a mangled mess of cardboard. The things dogs do to amuse themselves!
Then there were the gorgeous heart shaped leaves in the garden – with the bright sunshine behind them they appeared almost transparent. So I had to spend a bit of time shooting them.
Then when the sun began to set – two hot air balloons made their lazy way across the sky. It was gorgeous. It really shows that it’s almost Summer and the temperature is definitely on the up. Although it was chilly today!
And that was it really. I can’t wait to get out and explore further afield with the camera. But I’m trying to save my petrol at the moment. Terrible I know – but when we went out this afternoon to get some paint there were two closed petrol stations who had no fuel. So I’m desperately trying to hold onto mine as I have a lot of appointments coming up this week that I need to keep workwise!Enjoy the first week of April!
